A Travel Vibe
MEET THE BLOGGER

Hello, fellow wanderers! My name is Carmen and I’m the face behind this travel blog.

Travel has been the throughline of my entire life. I spent years working in the travel industry, which gave me an insider’s eye for what makes a trip truly memorable, beyond the highlights reel and into the details that actually matter.

Then, as a military spouse, I got to live that knowledge firsthand. Moving across the world, setting down roots in places I never expected, and learning to navigate new cultures, languages, and neighborhoods turned me from a travel professional into a true traveler.

What’s never changed is my genuine obsession with researching destinations, the history, the people, the hidden corners, the food, the stories. I can spend hours falling down rabbit holes about a place I haven’t even booked yet, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

A Travel Vibe is where all of that comes together. Whether you’re deep in planning mode or just dreaming, I’m glad you’re here.

I’m here to share all the cool stuff I’ve found on my own trips, and hopefully, it’ll give you some ideas and the nudge you need to start your own adventures.

An actual sign for me to follow my dream. As if the universe nudged me, whispering it was time to chase the dreams held close to my heart.

It all started when I took my first solo trip to South East Asia in 2017.

The blend of breathtaking landscapes, rich culture, and warm-hearted people was nothing short of transformative.
